Great Beginnings Catering

Onsite: Great Beginnings is fully licensed and insured for liquor at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Sanford.

Offsite: Great Beginnings is fully licensed and insured for off-premise liquor.  Depending on the town in which the event is held, there may be a local charge for a one-day off-premise liquor license.  Many towns do not charge this fee but some (like Sanford) do charge a $25 fee.

Full Bar Setup: Includes plasticware drink cups. (add $1 per person for glassware)  ice, sodas, juices, mixers, sparkling water, fruit garnish, napkins, and straws.  There is no charge for the bar setup!

Bartender: Bartender fee is $20 per hour (including travel time), plus gratuity at 15% of bar total.  Gratuities paid (by guests) directly to the bartender are subtracted so that host will only be responsible for any deficit of the 15% total.
Bar Options:
(1)  Open Bar: Host pays for bar total.
(2) Partial Open Bar:  Host pays for bar total for a pre-determined amount of time (example – first two hours are open bar; then convert to cash bar).
(3) Partial Open Bar:  Host pays for bar total for a pre-determined amount of money (example – first $500 {including 15% gratuity}; then convert to cash bar)
(4) Cash Bar:  Guests pay the bartender individually for their drinks.

Drink Prices:
Domestic beer (bottled):  Budweiser, Bud Light, Miller Lite, Coors Light, Michelob Light, Michelob Ultra – $3.25 per bottle
Imported beer (bottled):  Guinness, Heineken, Stella Artois, Sam Adams, Corona, Amstell Light – $3.50 per bottle
House wine:  Sutter Home – Pinot Grigio, White Zinfandel, Chardonnay, Cabernet – $4.50 per glass
Premium wine:  Kendall Jackson Chardonnay, Blackstone Merlot – $5.75 per glass
Liquor:  well drinks – $4.25; premium through top shelf ranges from $4.50 to $5.50 per drink
